A client was looking to refinance a mixture of semi-commercial and buy to let assets totalling £42.5m. It was a complex deal as it comprised 4 units spread across 17 limited companies.

When discussing loan options, the broker spoke to us and explained their client wanted to complete all assets on one day and move to a single portfolio, as well as raising additional capital for further investments.

There were many moving parts due to the case’s complexity. But with a multidisciplinary team approach, including InterBay’s in-house underwriters, sales and completions as well as the external legal team at Paris Smith, the deal was proactively and swiftly managed.

I started with the company in 2016 and have worked in a number of positions during my time here. After starting in the contact centre, I was promoted to a specialist role in 2018 before being given the opportunity to join the sales support team as a sales consultant in 2019. I love my current role as an office-based BDM as it gives me the opportunity to interact with brokers on a daily basis and work together to help achieve our mutual goal of providing the best possible service for your clients.
